Dye update

Jermaine Dye left Saturday’s game with a bruise on the top of his left hand. X-rays were negative.

Dye was struck by a Luis Mendoza pitch in the top of the sixth inning and went down in pain before exiting the game.

Lillibridge did not look like the answer in centerfield last night, and we all know how weak Podsednik is with the glove. With both Anderson and Wise on the DL, and both sadly lacking with the stick, would Williams consider signing a free agent like Jim Edmonds? He hit 20 hrs last year and even if he has slowed quite a bit he has the hardware to prove he knows what he is doing in the field.

Anderson was hitting .288 when he went on the DL. His bat is fine!
Scott why are there rumors going around that Kenny is looking into grabbing someone like Paul Byrd, Freddie Garcia, Odalis Perez, and Pedro? With Clayton Richard, Broadway, Poreda, Marquez, and Nunez shouldn’t we just go with one of them?
